Following the popularity of its HoloLens product, Microsoft is introducing a new spin on the popular content management system, SharePoint. The upcoming project, currently called SharePoint Spaces, allows users to manage and view documents within an augmented reality environment. Ideally, you would be able to view charts and graphs in 3-dimensional space. You might, at some point, even be able to meet with holographic meeting attendees – who knows.

Check out the teaser YouTube video, released by Microsoft a few days ago, and already closing in on two million views.

It is unclear whether these new mixed reality features will become part of the common Office 365 suite for businesses, without additional fees.  If we hear anything new, we’ll post it here.
